Mobil Pyrotec HFD 46B is a high performance phosphate ester self-extinguishing fire resistant hydraulic fluid. Mobil Pyrotec HFD 46B is TXP-free. Mobil Pyrotec HFD 46B has been evaluated in stringent tests for fire resistance such as the ISO 20823 manifold ignition test. Compared to other types of synthetic or mineral fire resistant fluids, Mobil Pyrotec HFD 46B shows a much higher ignition temperature (greater than 700C) and is very difficult to ignite. If ignited, the flame will self-extinguish. Mobil Pyrotec HFD 46B is formulated from specially purified phosphate base stocks and additives providing improved oxidation stability and lubrication properties. The Mobil SHC Gear Series is a group of exceptional performance synthetic industrial gear oils designed to provide excellent gear and bearing protection, longer oil life even under severe conditions, and to contribute to trouble-free operation and increased customer productivity. These scientifically engineered synthetic lubricants have been formulated from synthetic base oils that have excellent oxidation and thermal properties and excellent low temperature fluidity. The high viscosity index of these oils guarantees less viscosity change in connection with temperature variations, giving a wider temperature range and easier starting at low temperatures. The oils in the Mobil SHC Gear series contain an advanced patented additive system designed to provide exceptional protection against conventional wear mechanisms, e.g. scratching as well as very good protection against micropitting fatigue. Additionally, compared to the chemistry of conventional gear oils, these oils can improve the lubrication of the gear rolling bearings.
