The Chamberconstruction is designed to minimise the effect of dirtdust contamination witha fine micromesh made of stainless steel to prevent ingress of even thesmallest insects which can create false alarms.This advanced Multi Sensor is able to combine the benefitsof both optical and heat sensing technologies making it less prone to falsealarms than individual sensing devices. An innovative Nittan designed algorithmreads both signals simultaneously and generates alarm signals from either orboth sensors. The Heat sensor is Category P meaning it can be configured aseither A1R A2S BS or CS heat category.The integral Short Circuit Isolator is bi-directional and inthe event of an external fault will shut down on one side to protect thesystem whilst allowing the device to continue communication with the firealarm control panel from the opposite side. The isolator will self-reset whenthe fault is cleared.The Nittan UB-6-SL-EV Base includes a sliding link toprovide loop continuity when detectors are removed.
