Tapenade with Black Olives and Anchovies
This tapenade with black olives and anchovies is made from a smooth paste of brined, delicately crushed black olives. Capers ('tapeno' in Provençal), anchovies and olive oil are then added, as well as other condiments and herbs. Tapenade can be enjoyed on a slice of bread or served with raw vegetable sticks, salads, deviled eggs, and fish. It's also delicious with fresh pasta.
