System Sensor M200XE Loop Isolation ModuleThere is a large number of System Sensor intelligent fire alarm systems the address loop with a recipient device up to 198 is protected by a single one loop interruption but in the case of loop short circuit the entire loop it may become inoperable. With the M200XE modules shorting is not desired can be reduced.Only a small part of the system falls out if the loop is broken down into isolators because in the case of a possible loop only the two isolators will not be available to the control panel. If the address loop voltage drops below 7V the isolator module - with FET on the branch breaks it off the loop in the non-short-term part of the address loop the assets remain operational. If the breakdown the loop voltage rises on one side of the module then the separated short-circuit loop section 3 mA max. 15 mA control current flows through the module.In isolation the address loop wires between min. 2.2 kOhm resistance.
