TRS wire tow loops are Motorsport UK compliant to Blue Book rule Q19.1.3 and are suitable for front or rear fitment to all car types. Overall length is 33cm, with a loop diameter of 13cm, the  mounting plate bolt-hole centre ID is 15.00mm The following Motorsport UK Blue Book configuration is strongly endorsed by TRS: Vehicles to be equipped with two front and two rear wire towing eyes positioned equally either side of the longitudinal center line. TRS wire towing eyes are made of 7mm diameter stainless steel wire rope with a 7×19 wire core.  Each  towing  eye has a  breaking strain in excess of 2.7  tons and allows  the passage of a cylinder with a diameter of 60mm, situated 25mm forward of the adjacent bodywork – 100 mm above and below this hole must  retain  clearance  to  enable  the  recovery crews to attach straps and shackles to recover the vehicle. The wire towing  eye  must  be  fixed  to  a  structural part  of  the  chassis  with  a  minimum  of  M10 (Grade  8.8)  fixings,  the  inner  part  must  be  flexible  in  order  for  the  towing  eye  to  be retracted inside the bodywork profile. Available from stock in red, blue and black. Bespoke one off lengths are avaiable from our UK factory, but are subject to an additional small order fee.

TRS’ adjustable fabric tow loops are the original and still the best adjustable tow loops available. They have the strongest break strength, crucial when recovering cars from gravel traps,  and utilise permanently dyed webbing for strong bold long lasting non-fade colours. All tow loops are MSA compliant to Blue Book rule Q19.1.3 and are suitable for front or rear fitment to all car types. The adjustment range is 16cm – 60cm using pinch plates. Loop diameter is 13cm and the steel mounting plate hole centre ID is 12.5mm. Red, blue, black and orange two loops are produced using 5000kg break strength webbing. Yellow, green, and silver tow loops utilise 3000kg webbing. Warning – web tow loops should be kept clear of hot exhausts. Made in England.

Mid range 75mm lap and shoulder, FIA approved 8853/98 saloon harness ideally suited for a saloon or GT car. This is our most popular Saloon and GT harness offering the best combination of price and ease of use.  It has steel anti-creep adjusters on the lap straps and smooth running professional aluminium adjusters on the shoulder straps.  Snap hook fixings are fitted all round. The shoulder straps can be wrapped around the roll cage if required. TRS’ light weight 140 gram quick release buckle is of composite construction and is attached to the crutch strap on 6 point harnesses.  Innovative features such as, a securing tab for intercom cables on the shoulder strap, thumb loops on lower shoulder straps and Velcro patches on lap straps were all pioneered by TRS and are standard on all of our competition harnesses. A variety of attachment points are available on request – please see the attached spec sheet detailing the options. Standard colours are red, blue and black.  Silver, yellow, green and orange are manufactured to order.
