Vesda VHX-1300 Metal Box HLI Peer to Peer

Vesda VHX-1300 Metal Box HLI Peer to Peer

Vesda VHX-1300 Metal Box HLI Peer to PeerThe VESDA Wall-Mounted Open Protocol High Level Interface HLI links your VESDAnet with PC software monitoring tools Building Management Systems BMSs and Fire Alarm Control Panels FACPs otherwise known as host. With a built-in VESDAnet interface you dont need a remote VESDAnet socket module which makes the Wall-mounted HLI a cost-effective solution to your interface requirements. There are two models available depending on whether you require communication between your host and VESDAnet to be master-slave or peer-to-peer.In the peer-to-peer model the host polls the HLI for information about devices on VESDAnet while the HLI sends unsolicited messages to the host. In this way both the HLI and host are responsible for supervising the communications link between them. In the peer-to-peer model the host can request and receive multiple messages from the HLI.A VESDA High Level Interface HLI enables connection between a VESDAnet and configuration and monitoring platforms. Two main models are available1 Sliding Windows HLI which enables communication between a VESDAnet and configuration and monitoring software packages Xtralis VSC and Xtralis VSM42 Open Protocol HLI which integrates a VESDAnet to third-party software packages building management systems BMSs and fire alarm control panels FACPs.These HLIs are available in a plastic portable housing which can be used in multiple sites and a fixed wall-mounted configuration to provide a permanent connection in a convenient location at one site.Key FeaturesDirect access and monitoring of your entire VESDAnet systemSeamless data transferEasily configured using Xtralis configuring and monitoring software packages.Information available using the Open Protocol HLIDetector Type VLC VLS VLP VLF.Alarm status Alert Action Fire1 Fire2.Fault Status System Zone Urgent Power Network Flow Filter.Status Isolated Normalizing AutoLearn Scanning.Display info Alarm thresholds Location name.Display update Smoke level Alarm Fault status.Fault details list of active fault codes.Fault strings ASCII strings to describe each fault code.Detector controls Reset Isolate Silence Test Scan or Normalize2 .Configuration of Day Night alarm thresholds2

Vesda Xtralis PIP-015 Flush Sample Point Head Only for 10mm OD Tube

Vesda Xtralis PIP-015 Flush Sample Point Head Only for 10mm OD Tube Pack of 10Due to the aesthetic design of some buildings such as ornate ceilings or ceiling art-work a discreet unobtrusive smoke detection system is often desirable. Large open atria or voids feature stratified thermal layers that can prevent cooled smoke from reaching ceiling level. As such conventional systems will normally only respond when a fully-fledged fire condition is reached by which time significant damage has already occurred.VESDA provides the discreet detection required in heritage buildings by routing the sampling pipes in areas that are not visible from normal occupancy. Small-bore capillary pipes are used to provide detection at the required location. The room fabric often dictates the location of these capillary tubes. Hiding the capillary tubes behind light fittings blending in with ceiling paintings or forming part of the ceiling sculptures can all be used to provide invisible smoke detection. In high volume atria applications such as cathedrals capillary sample points can be routed into the area at intermediate vertical levels to good effect to overcome stratification. The higher potential sensitivity of the VESDA system means that less smoke is required at the sample points to provide an alarm condition. With over 250000 aspirating smoke detectors installed worldwide the VESDA name has become synonymous with high quality and outstanding performance. An aspirating smoke detection system however only performs at its best with a well designed and installed quality pipework system. Xtralis manufacturer of VESDA detectors recognised this requirement and in 1997 launched its VESDA Pipe and Fittings range.Key FeaturesFor use with Red or White ABSOperating temperature range -40C to 70CLPCB approvedEN54 testedPack of 10Applications Used inChurchesHospitalsMuseums GalleriesPrisonsLibrariesArchivesConcert HallsPlease Note The PIP-015 is equivalent to the REDASP025F.

Vesda PIP-038 ASD Quick Release Kit Air Line ABS 34quot

Vesda PIP-038 ASD Quick Release Kit Air Line ABS 34When the aspirating smoke detection system is installed in a dirty or dusty environment the sampling pipes and sampling holes can get obscured over a period of time by the various airborne particles. As a result it is recommend to clean the sampling pipes and holes by blowing low pressure compressed air in the reverse direction through the sampling pipes. The connection of the compressed air to the sampling pipe and the release of excess air at the end of the sampling pipe can be cumbersome. With introduction of the Quick Release Airline Valve 9-30976 the Large Check Valve 9-10978 and Large 2 Way Ball Valve 9-10980 this does not need to be the case anymore. The quick release airline valve is installed close to the detector. During maintenance the detector can be switched-off and the valve closed to prevent any damage to the detector during the clearing process. The low pressure compressed air can now be easily connected to the quick release. At the far end of the sampling pipe the large check valve or large 2 way ball valve can be used. The check value is the easiest to use as it will automatically open to release excess pressure during the cleaning process and does not require any human interaction. In some cases the check valve might not be suitable and then the 2 way ball valve can be used to manually open the far end of the sampling pipe.Key FeaturesEasy connection of airlineRobust ball valve to protect ASDFor use with 9-10978 - check valve

Xtralis OSE-ACF OSID Anti-Condensation Film for Emitter Pack of 10

Xtralis OSE-ACF OSID Anti-Condensation Film for Emitter Pack of 10

Xtralis OSE-ACF OSID Anti-Condensation Film for Emitter Pack of 10Pack of 10 anti-condensation films designed for OSID Emitters.Emitters are equipped with an acrylic lens and are therefore not normally prone to condensation. However in some extremely moist environments condensation may nevertheless occur on the lens. Slow forming condensation can produce an unacceptably large loss of signal. To prevent that from occurring the Emitter lens can be fitted with an anti-condensation film. The film can be quickly and easily applied to the lens without the need for special tools or adhesives. The film prevents condensation from forming and keeps the lens clear. Note however that the film causes a 10 reduction in maximum detection distance. A damp cloth can be used to clean the film if it becomes contaminated. The combination of the film and the algorithms in the Imager offer a cost-effective solution for condensation susceptible areas. The OSID Imager has a built-in heater and the film should not be used on Imagers. In harsh environments where the OSID-EH environmental housings are used and condensation is expected both Emitter and Imager housing can be fitted with an anti-condensation film. When applied on Emitter and Imager housing there is a 20 reduction in maximum detection distance.Key FeaturesPrevents condensationFast and easy installationSimple maintenanceLong lifetimeHighly scratch resistantDoes not crack peel or discolour from exposure to sunlightEasy to clean using cleaning solvents
