Vesda Xtralis REDFLEXI25B 25mm Flexible 1m Long Bend

Vesda Xtralis REDFLEXI25B 25mm Flexible 1m Long BendWith over 250000 aspirating smoke detectors installed worldwide the VESDA name has become synonymous with high quality and outstanding performance. An aspirating smoke detection system however only performs at its best with a well designed and installed quality pipework system. Xtralis manufacturer of VESDA detectors recognised this requirement and in 1997 launched its VESDA Pipe and Fittings range.Always use tools specifically designed forplastic pipe.Protective gloves are recommended for usewhen solvent cementing. If hands come into contact with cement use a waterless abrasive soap.Avoid sources of heat or open flames when solvent cementing. Do not smoke.Always chamfer and deburr pipe ends.Use the proper solvent cement note air shipments of solvent cement are forbidden by law.Always replace lids on cans when not in use.Never dilute solvent cement.Keep jointing surfaces dry in wet weather.Avoid direct inhalation of fumes. Use in a well-ventilated area.Wipe up spills or leaks immediately with clean lint free cloth or paper towels.Follow recommended cure times prior to testing the system.Prevent excessive solvent cement from running into the pipe or fitting socket. The Integrity of air sampling systems may be affected if proper CPVC solvent cement is not used. The Safety Crewdisclaims responsibility for any air sampling pipe system constructed with cements other than those recommended. Please note The PIP-021 is equivalent to the REDFLXI25B.

Xtralis OSE-ACF OSID Anti-Condensation Film for Emitter Pack of 10

Xtralis OSE-ACF OSID Anti-Condensation Film for Emitter Pack of 10

Xtralis OSE-ACF OSID Anti-Condensation Film for Emitter Pack of 10Pack of 10 anti-condensation films designed for OSID Emitters.Emitters are equipped with an acrylic lens and are therefore not normally prone to condensation. However in some extremely moist environments condensation may nevertheless occur on the lens. Slow forming condensation can produce an unacceptably large loss of signal. To prevent that from occurring the Emitter lens can be fitted with an anti-condensation film. The film can be quickly and easily applied to the lens without the need for special tools or adhesives. The film prevents condensation from forming and keeps the lens clear. Note however that the film causes a 10 reduction in maximum detection distance. A damp cloth can be used to clean the film if it becomes contaminated. The combination of the film and the algorithms in the Imager offer a cost-effective solution for condensation susceptible areas. The OSID Imager has a built-in heater and the film should not be used on Imagers. In harsh environments where the OSID-EH environmental housings are used and condensation is expected both Emitter and Imager housing can be fitted with an anti-condensation film. When applied on Emitter and Imager housing there is a 20 reduction in maximum detection distance.Key FeaturesPrevents condensationFast and easy installationSimple maintenanceLong lifetimeHighly scratch resistantDoes not crack peel or discolour from exposure to sunlightEasy to clean using cleaning solvents
