The only limit is your imagination. The fabric is 145 cm wide and shrinks about 3% in the wash. It can be washed at 40°, always hang dry and iron at low heat. TIP: Satin weaves are not very forgiving when it comes to needle marks. A good way to avoid damage is to start with a fresh needle, as a damaged needle is more likely to stick to the fabric and leave marks. It can be washed at 30°, always hang dry and iron at low heat. TIP: Use good quality fleece and interfacing to stabilise smaller parts like collars and cuffs. We recommend ironing it on before cutting out the pattern pieces - and remember to iron without steam (water can leave small stains and the high temperatures from the steam can change the surface of the fabric!) Leggings for a party, a beautifully draping skirt, or an elegant top.  The possibilities are endless – just get out the sewing machine and get started.  A bit of practicality This fabric is made of 92% polyester and 8% elastane. It measures 150 cm in width, and you can expect it to shrink by 6% when washed. Choose the length you need for your DIY project. When working with jersey, we recommend using a jersey needle, which is characterised by having a medium point – also known as ball point. The needle easily penetrates the knitted quality and prevents stitches and threads from running. For this type of jersey, we recommend jersey needles in size 70/80.
