Not content with developing the first water-soluble acrylics in 1955, Liquitex decided to revolutionise the game again, releasing their Heavy Body range a few years later in 1963, evolving to the current extensive 116 colour range available today.
This set includes 12 versatile, fully intermixable paints broken down into 10 unique colours (listed in Contents tab below) & 2 Titanium Whites, effectively broadening your spectrum of colour mixing opportunities.
Their smooth, buttery consistency allows for excellent handling & blending characteristics, along with easily retaining crisp brush strokes & knife marks for textures & impasto techniques. Also, due to the additional thickness, you can take advantage of their extended open-working time whilst the flexible satin paint film prevents any cracking during the drying process.
Rich & permanent, each colour features a high concentration of artist-quality pigments, each individually (and extensively) tested for lightfastness against the strict guidelines set by the American Society for Testing & Materials (ASTM). This process ensures that your work has the greatest archival permanence possible, guaranteed for at least 50+ years (in gallery conditions), with no colour shifting or fading.
