Lansinoh contains Lanolin, without including preservatives or additives of any kind. Lanolin has been used for more than 8000 years to give soft and smooth skin. Lansinoh works by the process of Moist Wound Healing (Moist Wound Healing increases the moisture content of the skin, reducing drying, promoting faster healing and reducing scar and scab formation). Sore and cracked nipples caused by Breast Feeding can be treated with Lansinoh Lanolin. Studies reveal that Moist Wound Healing offers a soothing environment for sore and cracked nipples caused by Breast Feeding. With a moist wound, no scab is formed and healing is accelerated.
