Amplivox - ER75 Electro-acoustic ear simulator

Amplivox - ER75 Electro-acoustic ear simulator

Product Properties The ER-75 electro-acoustic ear simulator is the perfect solution for performing objective validation of audiometers and audiometric equipment, ensuring optimum performance when testing for hearing loss. Testing Tests provide repeatable thresholds over the frequency range of 0.25kHz to 8kHz, thereby simulating the patient response and enabling the user to identify hearing loss issues. This ensures compliance at all hearing test frequencies used in an actual hearing assessment. Fast and efficient Instrument validation can be completed in under 5 minutes, allowing users to identify if the audiometric facility (audiometer, booth, headset and all associated cables) are performing in an accurate manner. Any changes to the measurements can then be identified by comparing with previous results and remedial actions can be taken to ensure test accuracy. Automatic As the simulator is completely automatic, validations are carried out using standard and Audiocup configured audiometry headphones (connected to the audiometer), which are placed over the ER-75’s built-in microphones. Portability At only 500g (1.1lbs), battery powered and with a lightweight and compact design, the ER-75 can be used for both static and mobile requirements. Key Features Automatic audiometer validation in under 5 minutes Repeatable thresholds over 0.25-8kHz Battery powered Compact, lightweight and portable Please note: The circumference of a headset must be big enough to sit comfortably on the ER-75 to form a seal (the unit is not considered suitable for a Pelter headset). Validation testing should be considered as an essential part of the test programme and can be required should there be an audit of the medical services.

AlcoDigital Standard Lab-in-a-Bag

AlcoDigital Standard Lab-in-a-Bag

Product Properties The ultimate portable, on-site testing system for drugs and alcohol. The Standard Lab-in-a-Bag combines the Dräger DrugTest 5000 Analyser, Dräger Alcotest 6820 Breathalyzer and mobile printer to create a completely mobile test centre for both drugs and alcohol. Comprehensive drug and alcohol testing kit The Lab-in-a-Bag concept combines the Drager DrugTest 5000 Analyser with the Drager Alcotest 6820 Breathalyzer and Mobile Printer to create a completely mobile test centre for both drugs and alcohol. The Drager Alcotest 6820 Breathalyzer records the time and date of the alcohol breath test along with test results for up to 5000 tests, all of which can be downloaded to a PC with the included AlcoView Software and a USB cable. The Draeger mobile printer is included as standard to ensure a hard copy can be produced and certified on-site during testing. The Dräger Alcotest 6820 Breathalyzer is Uk home office approved. The DrugTest 5000 has been Home Office Approved for use by the UK police force in the detection of THC (Cannabis). Both are made by Draeger, so accuracy and reliability are guaranteed – Draeger represents the very pinnacle of drug and alcohol testing and screening equipment for use in the workplace. Objective Results The real difference with the lab-in-a-bag concept, when compared to other methods and products like DrugWipe, is the fact that the system is entirely objective. Results are displayed on the integrated screen, as well as hard-copy printouts from the mobile printer.  The subjectivity of interpreting results (all of which requires experienced personnel to carry out) is removed and replaced with simple, factual and unambiguous result. In effect, the system removes any risk of human error. Laboratory Confirmation The Dräger DrugTest 5000 Analyser is highly accurate and rarely would the results be challenged. In the event of a result being disputed by an employee, a follow-up laboratory confirmation test can be carried out. Our pre-paid confirmation kit is ideal for this purpose; it comes complete with full chain-of-custody instructions and pre-paid laboratory testing envelope; just sample, seal and send.  From just £39 for a kit containing a pair of duplicate testers it forms a very cost-effective means of obtaining laboratory-assured results.  The second test is held in reserve and can be re-tested by a laboratory of the employee’s choice should they wish. Low Running Costs With the exception of a bi-annual calibration and mouthpieces, there are no ongoing costs associated with the breathalyser.  Mouthpieces are supplied individually sealed for hygiene purposes but one may be used many times over by the same individual. A box of 20 x Drager DrugTest 5000 Test Kit Cartridges (box of 20)   costs £595 + VAT and comes with a shelf life of 12 months. We have test plans available for those performing more than 40 tests every 3 months. Depending on the quantity of test kits you require with a test plan, the cost of the test kits will be from as little as £20.50. We also deliver and invoice quarterly making sure you are not holding stock with a short shelf life. Please  contact us  for more details on our test plans.
