It still takes up a good amount of space, but if you're making a beanbag, we recommend that you buy the larger 100-litre bags – search for "bead filling" to see all the options.Bead filling for everything elsePolystyrene beads are also great when, for example, you want to make a nursing pillow for yourself or as a gift for a new mother. Or if you like sewing cute figures that need to be filled with a light and flexible material. Just remember that the small beads can easily slip through tiny holes in your crocheted or knitted project. Therefore, it might be a good idea to have an extra thin and tightly sewn bag inside the figure.How many beads do I need?It's hard to say because it entirely depends on the size of your project and how filled you want it to be. To make it easy for you, we've indicated the quantity in our patterns, so you have an idea of what we recommend. Good to knowThese polystyrene beads are made of polystyrene and are, of course, 100% free from brominated flame retardants. The bag contains beads of various sizes to achieve the best final result. They have a diameter of three to five millimetres.

All in all, it's a combination that offers you great comfort and freedom of movement.  The quality is windproof and waterproof with a water column pressure of 5,000 mm and good breathability of 3,000 mm.  Softshell or Rainwear? In general, softshell is more breathable than traditional rainwear, making it more comfortable to wear when you're active.  Many wear softshell regardless of the weather: You're prepared for a rain shower, and at the same time, the soft inner layer keeps you comfortably warm.  About Water Column Pressure Water column pressure indicates how much water the material can withstand before it starts to penetrate. The higher the water column pressure, the more waterproof it is. A good rule of thumb is that +2,000 mm is suitable for light rain showers/short trips in the rain, while +5,000 is for a heavier rain shower or a couple of hours in light rain. If you're going to be out in heavy rain, we recommend +8,000 mm.  Some Practical Information This fabric consists of 95% polyester and 5% elastane.
