Patterned Linen for Your Next DIY Project Patterns are brilliant for creating ambiance and a personal touch in any DIY project. Go all in with one pattern, or mix your favourite pattern with plain, neutral fabrics to achieve precisely the expression in your project that you love.  Patterns for the Wardrobe and Home Sew your own summer clothes - shirts, dresses, trousers, shorts, and skirts - linen is a wonderfully light material that the skin can easily breathe in. Perhaps you should mix different colours and patterns in your summer wardrobe?  Linen is also a great material for your DIY home projects. Whether it's cushions or a tablecloth, linen works well to create ambiance and texture both outdoors and indoors.   Linen – The Natural Material Linen is a natural fibre that has been used for clothing for thousands of years. It's a durable, light, breathable, and absorbent material often used in warm weather. It has a tendency to crease, making it perfect for a more casual look.   Did you know that linen becomes softer after washing it several times?   A Bit More About This Linen The fabric is made of 30% linen and 70% cotton, comes in a width of 140 cm, and the exact length you need.   We recommend using universal needles in size 80 when sewing this linen.   What is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®? OEKO-TEX® is the world's leading health label for textiles.  When the fabric is certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, it's your guarantee that it has been tested and approved and contains no harmful chemicals.

Woven crepe viscose with braided check

Woven crepe viscose with braided check

Stunning in crepe and pattern!  Patterns have a special touch. They add personality and vivacity to your design. Coupled with the exquisite crepe effect, you get a fabric that you can use for a myriad of designs.     Are you into a simple top or blouse? Or perhaps skirts or dresses with a swish in the skirt? Or even flowing trousers? The lovely patterns and the understated crepe effect yield a delightful outcome, especially for the simplest designs.     The elegant crepe effect   The characteristic wrinkles in the fabric come from a heat treatment that disrupts the smooth structure of the fibres, resulting in a refined surface. Creped viscose still retains the same favourable properties you know from the smooth viscose: It's soft, lightweight, breathable, and drapes beautifully.     What is viscose?  Viscose has been used in clothing for over 100 years. The fabric consists of processed and regenerated cellulose from sources like wood pulp or cotton waste. It resembles natural fibres such as cotton and silk.     A few practical details  The fabric is 100% viscose, and you can naturally select the exact length you need. Wash at 40°, iron at medium heat, and opt for air drying. Be aware of how much the fabric may shrink when washed.     Remember to use the right needles – we recommend using a universal needle or a microtex needle in size 70.     What is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®?  OEKO-TEX® is the world's leading health label for textiles.   When the fabric is certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, it's your guarantee that it has been tested, approved, and is free from any harmful chemicals.
