Blooming Fast Clematis Feed 900g

Blooming Fast Clematis Feed 900g

If you want the kind of clematis display that stops people in their tracks, it all starts with what goes into the soil. And Blooming Fast Clematis Feed is hands-down the best way we know to get your climbers bursting with flower power. This isn't just any old plant food. It's a specially balanced, potassium-rich formula that we've used ourselves to get clematis, honeysuckle and jasmine absolutely heaving with flowers. It works beautifully on trachelospermum and ivies too. Whether you're feeding a prized patio specimen or a vigorous wall-covering vine, this will keep your plants in tip-top condition. Quick to apply, gentle on roots, packed with natural nutrients. It's everything you want in a specialist feed. But, how does it do it? It gets to work underground, fuelling strong root systems and lush foliage. Then it shifts up a gear, pumping energy into flower production. You'll see more blooms, better colour, and healthier plants that grow harder, longer, and stronger. And here's the best bit. It couldn't be easier to use. Just a quick application in spring, then repeat every three months to set your plants up for success. This is the kind of feed that makes gardening feel like cheating. But in the best way.Supplied as a resealable 900g packet.Directions for use:NB one small gloved handful contains approx. 30gNew Plants(Apply when growth is strong).Spread 35-50g of Clematis Feed evenly around the plant base.Ensure newly planted Clematis are well watered during dry weather. If the soil is dry, plants should be watered in.Established Plants(Apply in March. Bletilla Blue Dragon

Bletilla Blue Dragon

Orchids are one of the most popular plants in the UK and when you see their exotic blooms, it's easy to see why. The ones that we are used to seeing are houseplants and need to be grown inside - however there is a hardy orchid that you can grow in your own garden!Bletilla, or the Hyacinth Orchid, is one of the hardiest and easiest to grow garden orchids in the UK, slowly forming clumps which produce their gorgeously detailed violet-pink flowers in early summer. When grown in light, dappled shade, bletilla is quite unfussy so it can be grown in the ground under trees, in lawns, or even in patio pots (in shade).'Blue Dragon' forms a clump of attractive, ribbed, sword-shaped leaves, with erect stems bearing many violet, fragrant, orchid-shaped flowers in spring and early summer. Blooms can reach up to 5cm wide, and each has a ruffled lip in a slightly darker shade, making them a stunning addition to your garden.Although hardy to -10°C, we recommend growing them in a container where they can be moved to a conservatory or unheated greenhouse during winter, and in mild areas a generous layer of dry mulch should be applied in autumn to provide protection for the corms.Alternatively, lift the corms in autumn and store it in a dry, frost-free place. One thing you need to remember is that bletilla should be kept dry during their winter dormancy, as they will not survive cold, wet soil.An easy to grow plant, which if left undisturbed, will naturalise and spread out to form good-sized clumps.Supplied as an established plant in a 9cm pot (dormant in winter so no leaves), ready for potting on or planting out when the soil warms, plants can reach 50cm high and 50cm wide.NB - Plants are dormant October to March so there may be no leaves on your plant when delivered.
