Puschkinia libanotica
A true springtime gem... If you've never grown Puschkinia libanotica before, let us introduce you to an early spring bulb packed with quiet charm. And once it's in, it just keeps giving.Commonly called the 'Striped Squill', these lovely little bulbs burst into flower just as the garden is waking up from winter. Each bloom is a soft powder blue, beautifully striped with deeper blue through the centre of each petal, like nature's own pinstripe. Subtle but striking, and when you plant them en masse, the carpet effect is astonishing.Grow through lawns, under trees, in borders, between paving or even tucked into pots. Wherever you plant them, they just work. They're low-growing, around 10cm tall, so they never overpower, but they create a magical sea of blue that early pollinators absolutely love. What's more, they naturalise beautifully. So each year, you'll get more flowers, more colour, and more spring cheer, with no effort from you. Just plant them once, and let nature do the rest. They're fully hardy, disease resistant, and thrive in most well-drained soils in sun or partial shade.Supplied as a set of 60 bulbs, size 5/6.
