The Knights' Creed

The medieval knights had a code of chivalry that included courage, community and wisdom - in this composition each of these ideals is symbolized with its own melody. The percussion provides the framework as these melodies are stated individually, in pairs and ultimately all together in a triumphant conclusion. This work is an ideal high-energy concert opener or festival piece that showcases all sections of the band and allows them each to play the melody. Dur: 5:10

The New Covenant

Throughout The New Covenant the composer seeks to portray through programmatic music the sensitivity, love and understanding of a compassionate Christ and the strength and wisdom of the Son of God who gave Himself to become the new covenant between God and man. This descriptive work creates a word painting by use of fragments from John Newton's beautiful hymn 'How Sweet The Name of Jesus'. An ideal work for any concert but especially for those taking place in Churches or Cathedrals.

Walking to the Sky takes an epic, cinematic approach to celebrate humankind's collective quest for wisdom and transcendence. It was inspired by a 100-foot Jonathan Borofsky sculpture, which creates the illusion of a group ofpeople walking skyward into infinity. With pulsing percussion, heroic brass, haunting melodies, sudden shifts in dynamics and dramatic key changes, everyone in the ensemble gets a chance to star in this exciting mini-movie score.To add even more grandeur, there is an optional choir part (that could be played on a synthesizer).
